Employee Time Tracking – User Guide
Overview
Employee Time Tracking is a feature within the Kit19 platform that helps organizations monitor employee activities. It allows users to track time, capture screenshots, and generate reports for better productivity analysis.
Navigation to Download Screen Logger
- Navigate to Productivity > Employee Time Tracking.
- Click on Download Screen Logger.
- The system will provide an option to download the logs based on selected parameters.
- Choose the required date range and download the logs for analysis.
Click on the Download Button
- Locate the “DOWNLOAD PELSOFT LABS ETT HERE” button.
- Click the button to start the download.
Install the Time Tracker
- Once the file is downloaded, locate it in your Downloads folder.
- Double-click the file to begin installation.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process.
Navigate to Productivity Section
- On the left-side menu, locate and click on Productivity.
- The Employee Time Tracking submenu will expand.
Access Time Tracking User Section
- Click on “Time Tracking User Setting” under Employee Time Tracking.
- This section allows you to manage user tracking details.
Possible Actions in the Time Tracking User Section
Once inside, you can:
✔️ Add New Users for time tracking.
✔️ Manage Existing Users and their tracking settings.
Accessing the Time Tracking User Report
- Go to Productivity > Employee Time Tracking.
- Click on Time Tracking User Report.
- Use the date filter at the top right to select a date range.
- Click on the refresh button to update the report.
- If no records are found, verify if users have logged time for the selected period.
Viewing User Screenshots
- Navigate to Screenshot Page
- In the Productivity menu, select Time Tracking Screenshot.
- This will open the Screenshot page.
- Apply Date Filter and Search User
- Use the date picker on the top-right to select a date.
- Use the search box to find a specific user.
- If available, screenshots of the selected user’s desktop will be displayed.
Notes: If no records are found, ensure the selected date has data.
Navigating to Other Productivity Features
The Productivity menu includes various features:
- Breaks – View and manage employee breaks.
- Day Schedule – Monitor daily work schedules.
- Leave Approval Requests – Approve or reject leave requests.
- Sign-in/Sign-out Requests – Approve or reject employee Sign-ins and Sign-outs.
- Check-in/out Requests – Approve or reject employee Check-ins and Check-outs..
- Expense Claims – Approve or reject employee expense claims.
- Roster Mapping – Assign and manage work shifts.
- Team Chat – Access internal team communication.
- Team Chat Setting – Modify team chat settings.
- Leader Board – View employee rankings based on productivity.
Break Detail Section Overview
The Break Detail section provides a comprehensive list of breaks taken by users, including details like break type, time duration, and remarks.
Filters & Search Options
At the top of the section, there are search and filter options:
- From Date & To Date Fields – Allows users to filter break records based on date range.
- User Search Bar – Users can search for a specific individual’s break records.
- Search Button – Clicking this button applies the search/filter.
Break Details Table
Below the filters, the table contains multiple columns:
- Date – The exact date when the break was recorded.
- User – Displays the name and profile picture of the user who took the break.
- Break Type – Specifies the type of break, such as:
- Tea Break
- Lunch Break
- Other custom break types.
- From Time – The time when the break started.
- To Time – The time when the break ended.
- Remarks – Any additional comments or notes related to the break.
Pagination & Navigation
- The system allows navigating through multiple pages of break records using Previous, Next, and numbered page buttons at the bottom.
- The blue highlight on a number indicates the current page.
Day Schedule Overview
The Day Schedule section in Kit19 provides insights into employees’ daily activities, including their punch-in times, meetings, work duration, and travel.
Key Components
- Filters & Search Options
- Dropdown Menu (Nothing selected) – Likely used for filtering by department, user, or category.
- Date Picker – Allows users to select a specific date to view the schedule.
- Search Button – Initiates the search based on the selected filters.
- Map & Satellite View
- Displays a map with a pin marking a location.
- Satellite view option is available for a more detailed terrain view.
- User Activity List (Right Panel)
- IN (Green) & OUT (Red) Count:
- “IN: 0” – No employees are currently checked in.
- “OUT: 27” – 27 employees are currently out.
- Employee Details:
- Usernames are displayed (e.g., training, Mukesh Kumar, Vikas Kumar).
- Punch-in Time – The time at which the employee clocked in.
- Meeting Count – Shows the number of scheduled and completed meetings.
- Work Hours – Displays the total duration spent working.
- Travel Time – Indicates the time spent traveling.
- Icons & Controls
- Signal Icon – Possibly indicates connectivity or activity status.
- Location Pin – Likely allows users to track an employee’s location.
- Person Icon (Street View) – Enables a closer view of the location in Google Street View.
- Expand/Collapse Arrow – Opens or closes the right panel for better visibility.
Leave Request Details Overview
This section in Kit19 allows users to track employee leave requests, including details about the leave type, approval status, and actions.
Key Components
- Filters & Search Options
- Dropdown Menu (All) – Allows filtering by leave type, department, or employee category.
- Date Picker (14-Mar-2025 to 20-Mar-2025) – Enables selection of a date range to view leave requests.
- Additional Filter Options – Provides more specific filtering criteria.
- Search Bar – Allows searching by employee name or request details.
- Leave Request Table
- Employee – Displays the name of the employee who requested leave.
- Leave Details – Shows the type and duration of the requested leave.
- Requested Details – Provides more information about the leave request.
- Status – Indicates whether the request is pending, approved, or rejected.
- Approver Details – Displays information about the person responsible for approving or rejecting the request.
- Action – Contains options for managers to approve or reject the request.
- No Data Available Message
- The image shows “No record Found”, meaning there are no leave requests for the selected date range.

Sign-In & Out Request Overview
This section contains pending and history tabs for managing sign-in/out requests.
Key Components
- Tabs:
- Pending – Displays sign-in/out requests awaiting approval.
- History – Likely contains approved/rejected requests.
- Table Columns:
- Employee – Displays the employee’s name and profile.
- Activity Details – Shows timestamps of sign-in/out requests.
- Requested Details – Additional request details such as reason or manual corrections.
- Is Active – Indicates whether the request is active.
- Status – Shows the approval status (✔️ symbol suggests approval).
- Action – Includes eye (view details) and edit (modify) icons.

Check-In/Out Request Overview
This section allows users to manage employee requests related to check-in/out discrepancies.
Key Features
- Tabs:
- Pending – Displays check-in/out requests awaiting approval.
- History – Likely contains past approved/rejected requests.
- Table Columns:
- Employee – Displays the employee’s name and profile.
- Activity Details – Shows the check-in/out time.
- Requested Details – Includes additional information such as correction reasons.
- Status – Displays the current request status.
- Actions – Options to view (eye icon) or edit (pencil icon) the request.

Shift Mapping Overview
This feature allows assigning work shifts to employees for specific dates.

Key Elements in the Popup:
- Employee Name (*) – Dropdown to select the employee.
- From Date () & To Date () – Defines the shift duration.
- Work Days Checkbox – Ensures shifts are assigned only on working days.
- Shift Name (*) – Dropdown to select a predefined shift.
- Days Selection – Checkboxes to assign the shift to specific days of the week.
- Buttons:
- Cancel – Closes the popup without saving.
- Save – Confirms and saves the shift mapping.
Overview of the Settings
This page allows an admin or authorized user to set communication permissions for individual users in the system.
Key Elements in the Screenshot:
- Permissions Tab (Highlighted in Green) – Indicates the section for managing user chat permissions.
- Search Permission Box – Allows searching for specific permission settings.
- User Selection Dropdown (Highlighted in Orange) – Enables selecting a specific user for customizing permissions.
